You do not need a W3 or 1096 Transmittal forms as these are only used when you paper file to the IRS/SSA.
When you’re filing electronically (E-File) these files are sent to the IRS/SSA in an electronic format and Transmittal form will be automatically included. This is all done in the electronic filing process.
