1). Open the System Information
In the search field box which is typically located on the Windows Taskbar, Type System Information to open System Information App
2). Look in the System Summary
The System Information tool will display detailed information about your Windows operating system. Once opened it will show the "System Summary" – it’s an overview of your computer and operating system.
3). Operating System
Look at the very top of the item column for "OS Name".
The value of this item is your current Operating System.
32-bit or 64-bit OS (Windows 10)
Look in the item column for "System Type".
The value of this item will tell you whether your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit:

- x86-based PC: It’s a 32-bit computer (Windows 10)
- x64-based PC: It’s a 64-bit computer. (Windows 10 or 11)
You can view a summary of important info about your PC by opening System in Windows Control Panel. This will enable you to view your device specifications.
NOTE: We highly recommend to have your IT Administrator review your computer system information and make any system setting changes as needed.
