Please follow below steps: (Will also apply using previous year software 2022, 2021, 2020)
1. Right Click your software icon (TFP, TaxRight, Laserlink, or ACA) and select Run as Administrator
2. Click on the "Help" tab at top menu bar
3. Select About TaxRight for 20XX or About Laserlink for 20XX or About ACA 20XX software by Complyright
4. Click on the E-File Site Link
Note: You will also be able to view E-File Pricing/Cost on the E-File Site under "Forms & Fees".
Check Status of E-filed Forms:
Once your forms have been e-filed, you may want to check the status of your filings:
- When they were accepted by the IRS and/or SSA
- When recipient copies were, if you selected the service option of E-file, Print & Mail
- When you are able to e-file a correction form Print copies of your forms for your files or replacement copies for your recipients
Follow these steps below to check the status of your filed forms from your software:
Note: E-file is available mid-November to October 31st (tax filing year). We start transmitting to the IRS in mid-January when the IRS opens there site.
** After October 31st ALL Options under E-File tab will be disabled - To check the status of E-File you will then need to go directly to your E-File Site & proceed to Log In. **
1) Select E-file and then select Check Status of E-filed Forms. On the Pop up enter your password, and click log in
2) A web browser will open, logging you in to your e-file account and navigating you to the Filed Forms
Forms Status - when forms were submitted to the IRS you can view the date your forms were e-filed. Filing Status - when the IRS Accepted the forms you can view the date your forms were accepted by the IRS or SSA.
Delivery Status column show the date the forms were mailed to your recipients if you selected the E-file & Delivery service option. The Correct Errors column will display a clickable link to File a Correction, if available.
Other service available such as E-File, Print & Mail or File A Correction are additional fee.
