What if CD disc doesn’t Automatically Run? (Setting AutoPlay)

If you insert your software CD disc into your CD/DVD drive and nothing happens, this probably occurs because Windows 10/11 may have disabled autoplay by default. To change autoplay settings & initiate installation follow below steps:

Setting AutoPlay in Windows:

  1. Open the Start menu. Click Settings.
  2. Select Devices.
  3. Click AutoPlay in the lower-left side of the display. Then slide the Use AutoPlay for all media and devices toggle on or off.
  4. Under Choose AutoPlay Defaults, set the default action for AutoPlay when connecting each type of media or device.

Note: You can also insert your software disc into CD/DVD Rom drive & Hold down the Windows + R keys to open the Run command
